PGH North

PGH North is an Interscholastic Cycling Team that we created a logo for, then designed team uniform apparel.

I got to reuse some old logo drafts from a different unfinished project called Avenue North. Not all of these concepts worked for the this branding, but these are still some of my favorite logo drafts that were never used.

We tested a few selected logos and colorways on cycling jerseys to see which felt the most visible and easy to read.

We tested a few selected logos and colorways on cycling jerseys to see which felt the most visible and easy to read.

This logo expressed movement and took inspiration from bike treads. The vertical logo variation was much easier to read on the front of the jerseys, as it filled the space better.

Using high-vis yellow here helps keep the kids safe while riding in the forest. We added black and bright blue for contrast. I greatly enjoy doing apparel design, having also started designing shirts for my own brand, and hoping to do more apparel
