Whole Plants

Whole Plants came to us for a brand refresh and packaging design. We wanted to ensure that the brand conveyed that they were dependable, knowledgeable, and a more natural option for pain management than some of their competitors.

We went through a few rounds of edits and direction-changes, but there were a lot of beautiful options along the way.

We focused on creating a natural, modern apothecary feel to the brand.

We focused on creating a natural, modern apothecary feel to the brand.

Apothecaries were known for their mastery of natural medicine, and this approach felt like a differentiator from the competition who went with a very sterile, scientific aesthetic.

The chameleons and introduction of the color palette let us use certain colors to indicate product lines as well, developing a colorful array that would look great on shelves while also letting the consumer know the intended purpose for each line (a calming effect, energizing effect, and an in-between).

We did end up going back to the previous logo since market regulations disallow the use of an animal, but these remained some of my favorite packaging designs.
